Preemie T’s

For Prematurity Awareness Day, parents, nurses, and staff decorated t-shirts and hung them in the halls of the NICU.   Thank you to our kind ‘someone’ who made one for each of our girls.  It was very moving to see these.   (I’d like to see them get hung in the halls of NIH, Congress, The Gates Foundation, in government offices during the Combined Federal Campaign, etc. etc. etc.)

I’ll let some of the shirts tell the story…

Those shirts are too cute, and such an amazing way to show how important Prematurity Awareness is. I love reading all of the updates on Avery, and continue to pray for her and your family.

Thanks for sharing these! As the saying goes, “A picture says a thousand words.” Never has it been so true!

  3. How moving and inspiring, all of them. Got a lump in my throat when I saw Sienna and Lovely Layla’s t shirt. It feels like they are part of our family. God Bless you all.

The pictures you send and the words you post help to keep us strong in our faith and prayers. I am finishing up a “Spring Trellis” for Avery’s room. Hope to have it in the mail after Thanksgiving. Really, really, really wish you all could be here in Texas for the holidays, but hope to see you soon.
