Avery’s Beach Front Property

Anticipating that I would be very uncomfortable the last half of my pregnancy with twins, and as a way to express some of our excitement, we had the twin’s nursery ready by week 21.   Quin is a bit of an artist, and I love to paint, so our babies beachfront property became its own labor of love.  Although we had been certain that “Avery was a girl on my left side,” Sienna had succeeded through several ultrasounds in hiding her gender, so she might have been, “Jake.”   The beach theme allowed for a gender-neutral theme that also speaks to both of our passions for nature.   We look forward to the days when we can finally rock Avery in the glider that I covered in soft Caribbean blue fabric, and let her fall asleep hearing nothing but the sweet sounds of her musical gurgling fish in her “beach front property.”

Special thanks to talented Tylerann Jones for the 'golden retriever puppies on the beach' painting.

Our latest addition to the nursery from Andrea and Jason's awesome beach wedding...

Little did we know how appropriate this sign would be...
